My name is Annette and I am the woman behind ShangriLocks. I am currently residing where the redwoods meet the ocean in beautiful Santa Cruz, CA. I have had a life long love and fascination for dreadlocks and bodywork. I have been crocheting dreadlocks for 7 years. I apprenticed under an incredibly talented woman called Tarantula on Stilts for 2 years. This is where i was taught the technique of dreadlock Alchemy and NeoLoc Technology. I fell in love with the technique once i learned how it incorporates aspects of health and stress management and blends it with a unique crochet technique to create a healthy scalp, and sustainable Locks thqt will last a lifetime.
